#Girlpowered
Everyday girls are exposed to negative messaging telling them how to think and what to feel.. What if girls had the power to create their own messaging?
In collaboration with The Canadian Woman's Foundation, we gave the power back to girls to replace negative messages with girl-powered messages..
Filmed in the heart of downtown Toronto, the girl's messages are inspiring not only to other girls but to everyone who experiences the video.
I am currently working on another meaningful project in collaboration with the CWF. I can't wait to bring it to life!

This is Eleven
A tween is no longer a child, but not quite a teenager. They are in between the two age groups and their behavior and emotions reflect that.
This intimate portrait perfectly captures the wonder and curiosity of an eleven-year-old girl. It is an insight into how she sees the world around her as she figures out who she is and where she fits into it.
Look for more beautifully captured ages coming soon.

About
Born and raised in Southern California, I got my first experience in the film industry in front of the camera. Working with incredible photographers and directors across the US and Europe ignited a spark that led me to dump the engineering degree I was going for (what was I thinking?) and pursue a film degree at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. It was absolutely the right path for me and I never looked back. Although my parents still haven’t forgiven me.
I pride myself on exposing the beautifully awkward and imperfect reality life offers up. Finding the small nuances that make a moment unique, I’m more interested in the moment in between the moments. The photo you don’t post because it’s not perfect, but in reality is more representational of your life and charming than the perfect one.
As a mom, perfect kitchens and ridiculously clean homes actually make me frustrated as it is so very unachievable. I love the mess of real life!
With almost 20 years of experience, I've been fortunate enough to have brought life to commercials all over the world. I currently live in Toronto with my Canadian film director husband, 2 kids, 1 dog, and a hamster that seems to be living way past his promised expiry date.
